Our Mission
Achievers Academy was founded with the vision of creating a learning community where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their fullest potential. We believe that early childhood is a precious time, and our mission is to nurture children’s natural curiosity, confidence, and love of learning in an environment that is safe, joyful, and genuinely caring.
As a family-oriented centre, we place strong emphasis on meaningful partnerships between educators and parents. We recognise that families are children’s first and most important teachers, and we work closely together to ensure every child’s journey is enriched, consistent, and celebrated. Through open communication, shared goals, and a warm sense of community, we strive to make every day at Achievers Academy both educational and filled with moments of happiness, growth, and connection.

Our Philosophy
At Achievers Academy Early Learning, we are committed to providing safe, nurturing, inclusive and high-quality early childhood education that supports the diverse needs of every child and family in our community.
We embrace the power of play-based learning, where children explore, create, solve problems and build relationships in ways that are joyful and purposeful. Our curriculum is inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework and designed to support each child’s intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth.
We believe that each child is a capable, curious individual with their own unique strengths,interests and cultural background. Our role as educators is to guide and support their development through respectful relationships, engaging environments and meaningful learning experiences.
Our programs reflect a full appreciation of Australia’s rich multicultural society, enhancing children’s awareness of and respect for cultural differences and similarities. We celebrate the uniqueness each family brings and actively invite the sharing of traditions, languages and values in our learning environment.
We are proud to create a family-like atmosphere, where children feel safe, supported and known. We recognise the importance of building strong links between home and the centre and believe that when families and educators work in partnership, we are best able to support the development of the whole child in a mutually caring and respectful environment.

Our People & Values
Our educators and staff are the heart of our service. We build a team of skilled, passionate professionals who deliver high-quality education and care in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Each educator brings unique experience, yet all share a commitment to children’s learning and wellbeing.
Our team reflects the diversity of our community, and where possible we engage bilingual educators to enrich children’s learning through language and cultural perspectives. We value the varied backgrounds of our children and families and strive to create a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally safe environment.
We acknowledge and respect the cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This commitment is embedded in our daily practice through meaningful learning experiences and opportunities for children to connect with First Nations stories, identity, and Country.
We support ongoing professional development and ensure all staff hold a current Working with Children Check. Responsible Persons also maintain ACECQA-approved First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications to uphold the highest standards of safety and care.
Meet Our Centre Director - Cherie Bui
Cherie Bui has been the heart of Achievers Academy St Johns Park since our doors first opened in 2016. With many years of experience in early childhood education, Cherie brings genuine warmth, deep care, and a strong sense of community to everything she does. Her philosophy is simple but powerful: every child deserves to feel safe, confident, and deeply valued. Cherie believes in play based, relationship centred learning that nurtures each child’s individuality, curiosity, and cultural identity. She works closely with families, building trust and connection so that every child’s journey is supported both at home and at the centre.
Cherie is deeply committed to providing the highest quality early education for all children in her care. She leads with a strong focus on creating enriching learning environments, thoughtful programs, and meaningful experiences that support children’s growth across all developmental areas. Cherie encourages her team to engage in reflective practice, ongoing training, and innovative teaching approaches to ensure every child receives the best start in life. Her dedication since 2016 has helped Achievers Academy become a place where children thrive, learn with joy, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
